Job Description

A well-established and highly respected specialty medical practice in Savannah is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant, Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join their growing team. This fast-paced outpatient practice specializes in comprehensive dermatologic care, including medical, surgical, and cosmetic skin treatments for patients of all ages. The team is known for delivering personalized patient care while utilizing advanced technology and modern treatment approaches in a collaborative clinical environment. The ideal candidate will be professional, dependable, efficient, and passionate about patient care. Candidates must possess strong multitasking abilities, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a busy specialty practice setting.
Shift:
M-Th 8a-5p, 12p-1p lunch, Friday 8a-2p
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and office protocols Assist providers with dermatologic procedures and surgeries Prepare and assist during patient examinations and treatments Room patients and obtain/update medical histories, medications, and vital information Administer medications and assist with treatments under provider supervision Provide patient education regarding medications, skincare, procedures, and follow-up care Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records Electronically scribe patient encounters using iPad-based EMR systems Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and continuity of care Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked exam and procedure rooms Deliver exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming patient experience
Qualifications:
Must be a Certified Medical Assistant, Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse Previous experience in a clinical medical office required Dermatology experience strongly preferred Electronic scribing experience required Comfortable using EMR systems, iPads, and other medical technology Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration protocols Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Passion for delivering high-quality patient care
Preferred Skills:
Experience assisting with dermatologic surgeries and procedures Familiarity with cosmetic dermatology treatments Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate provider needs Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and patient-focused specialty practice that values professionalism, teamwork, and quality care
Pay:
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour
