Per Diem School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Trion, GA This position is tailored for Licensed Practical Nurses who are passionate about supporting students' academic, behavioral, and social development in a school setting. Working under the guidance of teachers, you will play a critical role in delivering individualized care and assistance that fosters positive growth and inclusion.

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 or small group academic, behavioral, and social support following teacher guidance Assist students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and active participation Implement behavior support plans and adhere to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as required Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications:

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Alabama Minimum age of 18 years Compliance with TB testing per district regulations Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary Current clearances or willingness to obtain required clearances before starting

Preferred Experience:

Experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges Certification or familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT is advantageous Reliable, patient, and collaborative team member
