Mon•Fri 7:30 am•04:30 pm (EST).
Pay Range:
$20.86•$22.35/hr on W2 Position Overview The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the public-facing representative of the company, interacting directly with patients during routine visits and important healthcare decisions. The role involves performing skilled and accurate blood collection (phlebotomy), specimen processing, and ensuring a professional, safe, and supportive patient experience. The PSR II is expected to demonstrate leadership behaviors, maintain confidentiality, and ensure accuracy in all patient-related information and procedures. Key Responsibilities Perform daily assigned tasks accurately and within required timelines Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment Collect and process clinical and forensic specimens following established procedures Verify patient identity and demographic information prior to specimen labeling Ensure patient signatures and proper tube labeling are completed in patient presence Maintain accurate records and required documentation Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and supervisors Provide a positive, professional image to patients and the public Work independently with minimal supervision while following protocols Handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting Travel and work across multiple locations as needed Required Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent (required) Medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred) Phlebotomy certification preferred.
Work Experience:
Three years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections. Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred. Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred. Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience.
