- Sioux City Downtown Responsible for providing safe and reliable patient care, under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).

- Provides direction and supervision of unlicensed assistive personnel (i.e. Patient Care Technician), demonstrates clinical judgment appropriate for Iowa's LPN scope of practice, uses problem solving techniques and time-management principles, and delegates appropriately.

Education:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Experience:
- Experience in skilled nursing, long term care or acute rehabilitation preferred.
License/Certification:
- Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Iowa required.
- Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three (3) months from date of hire required.
- Must obtain and maintain NIHSS education prior to end of orientation and complete every 2 years required.
- Completion of eight hours of stroke education prior to the end of orientation and annually required.
