Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse to provide personalized care to patients in their homes. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support to patients and their families. Your expertise and dedication will make a significant impact on the lives of those in need.
Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Educate patients and their families on proper healthcare techniques and disease management
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Adhere to infection control protocols to prevent the spread of illness
Requirements:
  • Valid nursing license in the state of [state]
  • Minimum of [X] years of nursing experience, preferably in private duty or home healthcare
  • Proficient knowledge of ambulatory surgery center procedures, physiology, infant care, ophthalmology, sonography, patient assessment, health coaching, inhalation therapy, infection control
