Desired Qualifications:
Current LPN or RN licensure in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain) Experience or strong interest in pediatric or school nursing settings Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills Ability to support students with chronic conditions, medication administration, and health emergencies Adaptability to varying age ranges and health-related caseloads Commitment to privacy, ethical practice, and student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver routine and emergency care to students with professionalism and compassion Manage medication administration, immunization records, and health screenings Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to implement care plans Educate students and staff on health, hygiene, and safety topics Maintain accurate and timely health records in compliance with regulations Participate in IEP/504 meetings and contribute to individualized student support Enjoy the chance to connect with students at all stages of their educational journey and make a meaningful difference each day.
