Job Summary:
Pearl Pointe, a leading provider of Assisted Living services in Freeport, IL, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) RN/LPN to join our dedicated team at Pearl Pavilion. Role:
As our Assistant Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our skilled nursing care team. You will lead by example, fostering a positive and supportive work environment that promotes exceptional patient care, staff development, and collaboration with other departments. Your expertise and guidance will be essential in implementing policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
Provide strategic guidance and support to the nursing team, focusing on improving patient outcomes, increasing job satisfaction, and enhancing the overall quality of care.
Patient Care:
Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient, promoting independence, dignity, and respect.
Staff Development:
Foster a culture of learning and growth, providing coaching, training, and mentorship to nursing staff to enhance their clinical skills and competencies.
Quality Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement and implement evidence-based practices to optimize patient outcomes, reduce readmissions, and enhance the overall quality of care.
Communication:
Serve as a liaison between the nursing team, other departments, and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to achieve our goals.
Requirements:
Education:
RN/LPN degree or equivalent required.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a long-term care setting, with a strong focus on nursing leadership and management.
Certifications:
