We are now hiring Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team and to help make a difference and positive change in the lives of those dealing with dementia and Alzheimer's. Copper Creek Cottages Memory Care offers 30 total apartments. We recognize every individual's physical, mental, and social needs and provide a secure environment that fosters independence for as long as possible. Our residents live as independently as possible within a smaller, more comfortable environment specifically designed to decrease anxiety, confusion, and depression.Responsibilities:
- LPN will Set up and administrator residents' medications based upon the resident service plan that has been developed by the primary doctor
- LPN will Record and monitor residents' medical and medication charts/records
- LPN will assist residents with Activities of Daily Living as needed
- LPN will maintain positive relations with residents, families, and physicians
- LPN will train and lead care staff
- LPN will Attend and participate in scheduled in-services, training programs, and staff meetings
- LPN will view incident reports when related to health conditions, and update resident service plan as needed
- LPN will perform Dr. & hospital follow-up and facilitate resident return process when needed
- LPN will assist in additional nursing services at the request of management
Qualifications:
- Valid state-issued LPN/RN license
- Abide by all facility and State Rules & Regulations
- Experience in direct patient care and assessments/observation of clinical conditions
- CPR certified and knowledge of basic first aid
- Must complete all state-required training to maintain licensure or certification
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
