Rockford, Illinois Shifts:
Full-Time | 7:00 AM•2:00 PM and 4:00 PM•8:00 PM | Every Other Weekend & Occasional Holidays Join a team that makes a meaningful difference every day. Anam Care and Anam Glen, a trusted assisted living memory care community in Rockford, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with residents living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, helping provide a safe, supportive, and dignified environment. We are looking for someone who is caring, dependable, and passionate about memory care. If you enjoy building relationships with residents and being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Administer medications and monitor resident responses Conduct nursing assessments and monitor changes in resident condition Complete accurate and timely daily charting and documentation Supervise and support caregiving staff Assist with and support the community's memory care programming Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members Respond appropriately to medical emergencies or disaster situations Ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate care Qualifications Active RN or LPN license in the State of Illinois 1+ year of experience working with Alzheimer's or dementia patients preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced care environment Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care CPR certification preferred (required after hire) Schedule Full-time 7:00 AM•2:00 PM and 4:00 PM•8:00 PM shifts Every other weekend required Occasional holidays Benefits We value our employees and offer a competitive benefits package, including: Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Voluntary Life Insurance Flexible Spending Accounts (Medical Flex Benefits) Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account
