MUST BE ABLE TO FLOAT TO ALL OFFICE LOCATIONS AS REQUESTED

VARIES Job Summary:
Under the clinical direction of the Provider, performs patient care services, diagnostic procedures, etc. Assists the Provider with patient visits and procedures in the medical office or clinic setting. In addition, may be required to perform front desk duties, which may include telephone work, patient scheduling, etc. If applicable, phlebotomy responsibilities including the collection and processing of specimens such as blood, urine, pap smears, cultures, etc. Assists in multiple departments within Powers Health Medical Group depending on the staffing needs of each department and the direction given by the Physician Practice Network Manager and/or Office Supervisor.
Education/Experience Requirements:
High School graduate or GED equivalent required Graduate of an accredited Nursing program required Licensed Practical Nurse must currently be licensed to practice in the State of Indiana Current active CPR certification is required Minimum of 2 years of current clinical experience in order to acquire a thorough knowledge of scientific principles of nursing and professional nursing standards, and develop skill in nursing techniques and the ability to adapt techniques to individual patient needs Demonstrates the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care for all age groups and their family members Organizational skills with focus on tracking patient care and improving patient flow Ability to multitask efficiently and effectively Must be able to act calmly and effectively in a busy or stressful situation Completes annual skill validation as well as safety and infection control procedures Excellent attitude, interpersonal skills and communication abilities necessary to interact with patients, Providers and other hospital associates Must demonstrate ability in taking patient vitals, injections/immunizations, charting and documentation, infectious waste handling, sterile technique and routine lab procedures including collection Travel required to multiple locations throughout
