Weekend Option Vent Unit (LPN)•Saturday/Sunday Meadow Lakes |
Mooresville, Indiana Status:
Full-Time Hours:
Days (6:00 AM•6:30 PM)
Open Interviews:
Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM•2:00 PM Walk in for an on-the-spot interview—no appointment needed. Meadow Lakes is conveniently located in Mooresville, southwest of Indianapolis, with easy access to I-465. Just 20 minutes from Downtown Indy, Plainfield, and Greenwood As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on our Vent Unit, you will build meaningful relationships while delivering skilled nursing care to residents with complex respiratory needs. In this role, you will utilize your clinical expertise to support the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents requiring ventilator support, working collaboratively with Respiratory Therapy and an interdisciplinary care team.
Skills Needed:

Create a calm, reassuring environment for residents with complex medical needs
Leadership:
Support and guide the care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
Collaboration:
Work closely with nursing, respiratory therapy, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
Teamwork:
Contribute to a coordinated approach to ventilator and respiratory care
Interpersonal Communication:
Maintain clear, respectful communication with residents, families, and team members
Requirements:
Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Indiana Current BLS certification (or willingness to obtain) Proficient in medication administration and clinical documentation Ability to assess, monitor, and respond to changes in resident condition, including respiratory status Experience or willingness to be trained in ventilator and tracheostomy care Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrates C.A.R.E.
