We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) Full-time Float to join our Family Medicine - Hesston location. Qualified candidates for this job opportunity will have current
RMA/CMA/LPN/RN
licensure and will be responsible for providing essential nursing services in a busy practice while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Your duties will include:
Assisting with medical procedures Triaging patients Patient call handling and referrals Updating the medical record, chart prep Patient education and triage Scheduling and administering vaccinations/injections Obtaining lab specimens and providing medication reconciliation Insurance authorization
Qualifications:
Current RN, LPN, RMA, or CMA licensure 1-2 years of clinic nursing preferred
Education:
Graduation from high school or GED Associate Degree or some college preferred Insurance or coding claims processing preferred. Medical Terminology course preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent organizational and strong customer skills Strong technology skills (word processing, data entry, and multi-line phone system) is critical to the success of the person in this position. Adept at managing varying duties and multiple tasks; flexible and able to successfully work with constantly changing priorities, timeframes and deadlines Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and excellent phone etiquette Knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words especially medical terminology Ability to work independently Ability to follow written protocols Knowledge of medical office procedures Applies common sense and logic in the performance of job duties and in responding to customer needs Punctual attendance
Licensure/registration/certification:
