Job Description

Job Title:
Licensed Practical Nurse The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) ensures the safe and accurate screening, enrollment, and assessment of clinical trial participants in compliance with study protocols, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards. This role supports the integrity of research data and participant well-being by performing thorough medical evaluations, managing informed consent processes, and delivering high-quality care throughout the study lifecycle. The LPN also ensures the confidentiality of clinical trial study participants and sponsors is respected and verifies participant identification prior to all study procedures. Responsibilities Monitor and care for patients by taking vital signs, performing physical assessments, and administering medications (PO, IM, Sub Q, or IV as permitted by state regulations). Execute study protocols by administering research interventions and study drugs, ensuring patient safety and ethical treatment. Collect, document, and report patient data, including adverse events, to research coordinators. Collect specimens, such as blood and other samples, for laboratory analysis. Educate participants about study requirements, assist in screening for study eligibility, and manage consent procedures. This position supports the build-out of an overnight PRN pool of licensed medical professionals. Candidates will join a team complementing permanent staff for overnight studies, which are expected to run until December 2025. Shifts may vary from 2-7 nights. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Lenexa, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
