Job Description
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Retina Associates, LLC is looking for a full time day shift LPN to work in our clinics! We are a sub-specialty ophthalmology medical practice treating diseases and surgeries of the retina, vitreous, and macula and are dedicated to serving the needs of our patients. We're looking for a candidate highly dedicated to patients and supporting physicians and peers, who exhibits strong IV skills and knowledge of EMR systems. Training provided. Responsibilities Communicate with physicians, referring physicians, and other medical professionals. Perform compliant and complete patient work up in a timely manner. Administration of medication, including IV procedures under direction of the physician. Create and contribute to patients' medical records. Collaborate with clinical team in patient testing and treatment. Respond to inquiries, concerns and complaints from patients and their families/guardians. Demonstrate excellence in management, leadership and organizational skills. Good understanding of retina practice (training provided) and patient care. Travel is required between clinic locations. Skills Excellent patient care and communication skills. Working knowledge of laws and regulations.
