Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Clinical Leader - Memory Care, Assisted Living Remember why you went into nursing; at Trustwell Living you have the ability to make a difference in the lives of seniors, families, and team members every day.
Primary Responsibilities:
As the Memory Care Director, you will be a critical member of the leadership team overseeing the clinical operations of our Memory Care wing of our assisted living community. Your key duties will include supervising care and medication staff, ensuring the highest standard of care for our residents, and maintaining open communication with residents, their families, and medical providers. Hands on working with residents, staff and families to guide them through the dementia journey. To thrive in this role and contribute to the Trustwell Living community, candidates should possess the following qualifications: A valid and current nursing license in good standing. An effective communicator who can connect with staff, residents, and their families. Strong customer service skills and the ability to effectively resolve issues and find solutions. A deep commitment to supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents. Ability to be flexible. A passion for nursing, with a focus on the nursing process of assessments, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcomes. Desire to continually build knowledge and skill sets to enhance our memory care programing. Basic computer skills to utilize EMARs, assessments, and care planning.
