CLINIC OPERATIONS
The Qualified Candidate for this position will hold a current RMA, CMA, LPN, or RN license and will assist with providing quality patient care in the clinic setting. Responsibilities include obtaining vital signs, assisting with procedures, obtaining and processing lab specimens, scheduling procedures, providing patient education, assisting with triage, updating the medical record, chart preparation, and coordinating insurance authorizations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining excellent communication with patients, providers, and clinic staff. Key Responsibilities Obtain and document patient vital signs and assist with patient intake and triage. Assist providers with procedures and collect/prepare lab specimens. Update patient medical records and prepare charts for clinic visits. Coordinate insurance authorizations and assist with scheduling procedures. Provide patient education and support to ensure understanding of care plans. Maintain professional communication with patients, providers, and clinic staff. Qualifications Education High school diploma or GED requiredRMA/LPN/RN
active licensure required Medical terminology coursework preferred Additional healthcare certifications appreciated Experience 12 years of insurance experience preferred Clinical experience with knowledge of insurance coverage processes preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Excellent organizational skills and strong customer service abilities Strong computer skills including word processing, data entry, and multi-line phone systems Knowledge of medical terminology Ability to manage multiple tasks while adapting to changing priorities and deadlines Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal communication skills and professional phone etiquette Knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and medical terminology usage Ability to work independently and follow written protocols Applies common sense and logic in performing job duties and responding to customer needs Reliable attendance and punctuality Licensure, Registration, or CertificationRMA/LPN/RN
