Job Description

Health Ministries Clinic (HMC) is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our integrated care team in Newton, Kansas. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to provide patient-centered care in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. As a vital member of our care team at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) , you'll support the delivery of outpatient primary care in collaboration with physicians, behavioral health providers, and fellow nurses. Our model emphasizes whole-person, evidence-based care , allowing you to focus on quality rather than volume. You'll have the support and time to build meaningful connections and make a real impact in our community. What You'll Do Communicate and collaborate with providers, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimum primary care Create and contribute to patients' electronic medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness Administer medications, and vaccinations and render treatment to all ages as ordered by a healthcare provider Respond appropriately to inquiries, concerns and complaints from patients, parents, or caregivers Participate in quality improvement efforts Assist with tracking and maintaining a medical supply inventory Qualifications Degree in Nursing Current unrestricted Kansas Nursing License 1+ years' nursing experience, clinic or public health nursing preferred Current BLS certification Knowledge of public health preferred Strong working knowledge of EMR Why Work at HMC?
