Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Day Shift Join our dedicated team at Botkin Care and Rehab in Wellington, Kansas! As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on our day shift team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. Role:
Provide direct patient care to residents, including administering medications, documenting medical records, and performing vital signs Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans Monitor and report changes in patient condition to licensed nurses and physicians Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure exceptional patient care and outcomes Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors
Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians Perform vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation Monitor and report changes in patient condition to licensed nurses and physicians Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans Document patient information accurately and promptly Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure exceptional patient care and outcomes Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors
