Job Summary Join our dedicated healthcare team as an Overnight Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Lawrenceburg. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients during overnight shifts, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Your expertise will support families and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient-centered care in a dynamic environment. Duties Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients, including vital signs assessment, medication administration, and medical documentation using EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth. Monitor and manage patient conditions through detailed assessments, recognizing signs of acute pain, infection, or distress, and responding promptly with appropriate interventions. Assist with specialized procedures such as IV infusion, catheterization, tube feeding, and sterile dressing changes while maintaining aseptic technique. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams on discharge planning, case management, and triage assessments to ensure seamless patient transitions across care settings. Conduct physical examinations and perform diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection and processing. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and ensuring accurate medical records documentation. Support patients with developmental disabilities or conditions such as Alzheimer's disease or dementia through tailored care approaches emphasizing safety and comfort during overnight hours. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current certification to practice in <

>. Demonstrated experience working with pediatric populations in settings such as hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, or home care environments. Critical care experience preferred, including ICU or emergency room exposure; familiarity with Level I Trauma Center protocols is a plus. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology relevant to pediatric nursing. Ability to perform complex patient assessments, manage airway and ventilator needs, and administer injections or medications accurately. Excellent communication skills for effective triage, health coaching, family education, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Commitment to infection control practices such as aseptic technique and sterile processing procedures; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
