RN PURPOSE

Work with physicians, implementing orders for medications, treatments and special tests. Supervise LPNs, LVNs and CNAs, providing them support in order that they may provide total nursing care for residents.

LPN / LVN PURPOSE

Organizes and directs assigned unit duties to provide quality nursing care to residents.

EDUCATION / REQUIREMENTS

RN - Must be skilled in directing, motivating and training staff and able to work as a member of a team; able to communicate effectively with residents, family members and all levels of the organization and maintain confidentiality. Should be a graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing with valid RN state license, and a minimum of 2 y e ars nursing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LPN / LVN

- Current State of LVN/LPN with a minimum of 2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Good standing in the state registry is required.

NEW GRADS ARE WELCOME PURPOSE

Under the supervision of the assigned RN preceptor will perform care requiring substantial specialized knowledge, judgement and nursing skills based upon the principles of psychological, biological, physical and social sciences in the application of the nursing process. Utilizes high-level assessment skills to design and ensure multidisciplinary patient care to meet holistic needs, incorporating established practice guidelines and regulatory standards. All employees will continually monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and initiatives. It includes an extensive departmental orientation with an assigned preceptor that we provide for each new graduate hired. As a part of this program, we offer reimbursement for Licensure fees in full.

EDUCATION / REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing Current Provisional license in the state of Kentucky or Kentucky work permit.
