POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Director at Freedom Behavioral Lake Charles plays a key leadership role in promoting safe, effective, and compliant patient care through ongoing performance improvement and quality initiatives. In this role, the Quality Director reviews clinical outcomes, conducts audits, analyzes data, and identifies opportunities to improve patient care and operational performance. They help maintain compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards while supporting regulatory survey readiness and quality improvement efforts throughout the facility. The Quality Director works closely with leadership and clinical teams to strengthen patient safety, reduce risk, and promote evidence-based practices. Responsibilities also include supporting staff education, monitoring documentation standards, and helping ensure continuous quality improvement across departments. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytical professional with strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality improvement processes, and a passion for excellence in behavioral healthcare.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Education:
Current clinical licensure in State of practice.
License:
State of Practice.
Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a clinical setting in the healthcare and/or medical industry is required. Previous experience in quality or performance improvement activities is preferred. If below experience standards, they must be enrolled in ongoing coursework in performance improvement and CQI methodology.
