Job Description

Overview We have openings on our 3-11 shift. Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), where your compassionate care and clinical expertise will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality nursing services in our long-term care, and short-term rehab environments. Your dedication to patient-centered care will support recovery, comfort, and well-being for our residents. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health histories to inform individualized care plans. Administer medications and injections accurately following physician orders while ensuring adherence to HIPAA and safety protocols. Assist with medical procedures such as IV infusions, catheterizations, and sterile specimen collection. Manage patient documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Point Click Care, ensuring precise and timely medical records. Provide specialized care for patients with complex needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or those requiring hospice or palliative care. Skills Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in memory care settings; familiarity with Alzheimer's and dementia care is highly valued. Competent in performing advanced nursing procedures including IV insertion, venipuncture, tube feeding management, and sterile technique. Excellent patient communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to delivering holistic senior care.
