Job Description

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact by supporting a student as a dedicated one-to-one nurse in an educational setting. This contract opportunity is perfect for a compassionate and skilled LPN or RN interested in providing continuous care and support for a male Out of District student. The assignment is planned for the remainder of the 25/26 academic year, includes summer coverage, and is expected to extend into the following school year.
Key Qualifications:
Active Massachusetts nursing license as an LPN or RN Experience working with pediatric populations or in school nursing preferred Ability to provide one-to-one nursing care, including medication administration, health monitoring, and ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) Strong communication skills for coordination with families, educational staff, and transportation personnel Reliable and professional, with strong documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing services to a student on a 1:1 basis both in the classroom and during transportation Monitor and address medical needs as outlined in the student's healthcare plan Support the student's participation in school activities and ensure safety at all times Maintain accurate, up-to-date health records and communication logs This assignment averages around 40 hours per week, spanning the academic year, summer, and likely extending into the next school year. Fall semester coverage will continue through December 23, 2026, with additional dates to be determined.
