POSITION

This position requires every other weekend. 8 and 10 hour shifts are available Ability to travel to multiple patients per day Caring Bees Healthcare is quickly expanding and we are hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) effective immediately. We care for patients of all ages and backgrounds who may require daily visits in their homes in the following locations: Dorchester, W. Roxbury, Hyde Park, Roslindale, Dedham, Norwood, Brighton, Brookline, Quincy, Mattapan, Newton, Allston, Cambridge, Brockton, Randolph, Milton, Lynn, Chelsea, East/South Boston, Medford, Somerville, etc. Home Care LPN Responsibilities Assess the patient's condition during every visit and document your observations Perform different tasks including vital signs and medication review Administer medication as prescribed by the patient's Physicians Perform wound care and assess the progress of healing Educate patients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures. Coordinate with Physicians and anyone else involved with the patient's care plan Make recommendations for devices/tools that might improve the patient's quality of life. Listen to the patient and respond to concerns or requests. Complete all clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Qualifications State LPN/LVN license required 1 year of experience in in-home care is preferred, but we can train the right candidate Excellent communication and time-management skills Compassionate and friendly demeanor
