Position Overview The LPN will work as part of the nursing team to support the health, safety, and daily well-being of members attending our adult day program. This role involves assisting with routine nursing duties, monitoring members' health, providing personal care assistance when needed, and supporting the daily operations of the daycare. Responsibilities Assist the nursing team with daily member care and health monitoring Take and document vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and oxygen levels as needed Observe members for changes in health or condition and report concerns to the appropriate nurse or supervisor Assist members with toileting and bathroom needs while maintaining dignity and privacy Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed Assist with mobility, transfers, and other member support within the daycare Complete light administrative and nursing-related documentation Maintain accurate and timely member health records Assist with medication-related nursing duties as directed and within the scope of LPN practice Communicate professionally with members, families, caregivers, and the healthcare team Help maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for all members Assist with other nursing and daily activities at the adult daycare as needed Qualifications Must hold an active LPN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Previous experience working with adults, seniors, or in a healthcare/daycare setting is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to member care Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a nursing team Bilingual in Vietnamese and/or Chinese is highly preferred
