School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Qualifications:

Current, valid Massachusetts LPN or RN license required Previous experience with school-age children preferred Reliable and compassionate, with strong communication skills Comfortable riding the bus with students as part of your duties Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

Administer daily nursing care for students, including medication management, routine first aid, and emergency response Monitor and assess student health, providing interventions as necessary Communicate with parents, guardians, and educators regarding student health needs Maintain accurate health records and comply with state guidelines Ride the school bus with students on assigned routes, ensuring their safety and well-being while in transit Foster a positive, supportive atmosphere for students of diverse backgrounds Participate in meetings or trainings as required What's in it for you?
