Job Description

Epic Special Education Staffing seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide school-based health services for the school year. In this role, you'll support students with diverse medical and developmental needs through daily care, medications, and implementation of individualized health plans. Responsibilities include monitoring chronic conditions, responding to emergencies, documenting services, and collaborating with educators and families to support IEP goals. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care and medication administration to K-12 students in a school setting. Implement and monitor individualized student health care plans and support IEP-related health goals. Assess student health status, respond to illness and injury, and manage chronic conditions on campus. Document nursing services accurately in school or agency electronic systems. Communicate regularly with families, educators, and related service providers about student health needs. Collaborate with school teams to support safe participation in academics, transportation, and activities. Follow infection control, confidentiality, and state school health regulations and policies. Participate in trainings and supervision offered by Epic Special Education Staffing to support clinical growth.
