LPN - Immunization & Medication Administration Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring for a leading healthcare organization known for providing comprehensive patient care and health services in Norwood, MA .

Up to $ 34.90/hour
Contract:
Through December 2026 , with potential for extension and additional opportunities based on performance and business needs
Schedule:
4-5 days per week

8:30 AM-5:00 PM , or 7:30 AM-6:00

None Position Overview The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide hands-on clinical support with a primary focus on immunization and medication administration . This position is well suited for a dependable, patient-focused LPN who is comfortable working in a clinical environment, following established protocols, and delivering safe and efficient patient care. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, flexibility, attention to detail, and a working knowledge of vaccines and immunization practices. Key Responsibilities Administer vaccinations and medications safely and accurately in accordance with established clinical protocols. Verify patient information, medication/vaccine orders, and appropriate administration procedures. Prepare medications and vaccines for administration while following applicable safety and infection-control procedures. Monitor patients appropriately following immunization or medication administration. Document medications, vaccinations, and related patient-care activities accurately and promptly. Follow established clinical policies, procedures, and safety standards. Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation. Communicate effectively with patients and members of the healthcare team. Answer patient questions related to routine immunizations and medication administration within the scope of practice. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment. Work collaboratively with other clinical staff to support efficient daily patient-care operations. Adapt to changing patient volumes, schedules, and clinical priorities as needed. Required Qualifications Active LPN/LVN license required. Previous clinical experience administering medications and/or immunizations preferred. Strong understanding of vaccine administration and immunization practices preferred. Ability to follow clinical protocols and accurately document patient care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a hard-working, flexible, and patient-focused LPN who is comfortable with hands-on clinical responsibilities and has a strong understanding of or experience with vaccines and immunizations . Candidates who demonstrate reliability, strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a busy clinical environment are encouraged to apply. Pay Details:
