Job Description
LPN Triage Nurse Urology Group of Western New England

- Handling a high volume of telephone calls and voice mail messages from patients, providers and colleagues, to discuss patient care.
- The ability to make decisions, and answer patient questions, based on established UGWNE policy and experience with urology nursing.
- Maintaining detailed documentation of communications with patients, and any treatments.
- The ability to see patients for "Nursing Visits", for treatment including testosterone injections, catheter removal, etc.
- Processing and tracking requests for medication prior authorization. Experience
- Previous experience in triage nursing or a similar role is preferred
- Proficiency in patient care across different age groups
