  • Skill Advancement Opportunities Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking novice Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for homecare opportunities in the Westfield, MA area.
We have full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities available. New graduate RNs and LPNs are highly encouraged to apply. No previous homecare experience is required. Maxim Healthcare Services offers clinical advancement programs for Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) looking to expand their skill set and gain experience caring for patients with higher-acuity needs. These programs provide caregivers with the training, support, and hands-on experience needed to work confidently in the homecare setting. Responsibilities Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Performs focused interviews to identify specific patient needs. Assesses signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition. Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from healthcare team members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses. Provides compassionate one-on-one patient care in the home setting. Performs other nursing duties as assigned. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Massachusetts. Current Health Certificate (per facility requirements). Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
