Tuesday & Wednesday 8:00am-4:00pm. Friday 7:30am-3:40pm

Salary:

\$35/hr

Essential Duties:

Administer and safely store all medical supplies and prescribed medications. Treat any daily health care problems, including first aid and emergency problems. Regularly assess clients for specific nursing needs, and/or health problems and monitor accordingly. Lift and transfer individuals as appropriate to their needs.

Provide preventative health maintenance:

blood pressure check, weight, health care education. Participate in or complete nursing assessments, progress notes, and other applicable documentation. Assist in coordination of health care services with Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist and Physical Therapist. Comply with all applicable State and Federal regulations, agency policies and procedures and personnel practices. Act as resource person to program staff, clients, families and care providers regarding health care issues and concerns. Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required. Perform other duties as requested by supervisors.

Requirements:

Current license with the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing and one year of experience. Must be able to pass Fingerprint background check, CORI, DPPC and Driving background checks Nice to have: Experience working with Individuals with ID/DD Valid Driver\'s License required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent Benefits package that includes: 403(B) matching up to 3% \$2,000.00 Staff Retention Bonus after 1 year
