Pay:
$32.00 - $38.00 per hour Job description: Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including pediatrics, long-term care, and home community care. You will play a crucial role in supporting patients' health and well-being through effective communication and clinical skills.
Shifts:
PRN, PT, FT
open for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift Duties Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans, including discharge planning. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician. Provide personal care to patients, ensuring comfort and dignity. Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection. Collaborate with healthcare teams in hospitals or long-term care facilities to ensure comprehensive patient care. Document patient information accurately, including coding for billing purposes. Educate patients and their families on health management and community resources available for support. Requirements Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice. Experience in pediatrics, long-term care, or home community care is preferred. Strong understanding of medical systems and procedures related to patient care. Proficient in discharge planning processes and patient education techniques. Ability to operate medical equipment, including ventilators when necessary. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and patient assessments. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards of practice.
