Job Description
•Frostburg Rehab Center is committed to providing excellence in the care and services to those we serve. We are seeking positive, caring individuals to join our team and provide quality care to our residents! • In keeping with our organization's goal of improving the lives of the Resident's we serve, the LPN provides supervision of staff and safeguards the health, safety, and welfare of all Residents under their care by following applicable laws, regulations, and established nursing policies and procedures.
What You'll Do:
As a vital part of our Skilled Nursing team, you will: Deliver safe, timely, and effective nursing care to residents under the direction of an RN or physician Monitor patients' health, administer medications, and provide wound care and other treatments Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans Support residents and their families with education, comfort, and reassurance Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards Follows the plan of care as developed by the RN staff nurse, MDS Coordinator(s), or RN members of the Nursing leadership team. Observes safety policies and reports any safety concerns. Demonstrates respect of resident rights and dignity. Fulfills the role of charge nurse when assigned Supervise and support Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNAs) in the delivery of care. Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for residents. Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and HIPAA policies. Participate in quality assurance activities and staff meetings.What We're Looking For:
Active LPN license in Maryland Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred — new grads welcome!
