  • Full-time Calvert Internal Medicine Group is seeking a Medical Results Coordinator, RN or LPN for our Prince Frederick office. This position will primarily collaborate and communicate with providers to relay results in accordance with established organization and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to CIMG's values through teamwork, professionalism, and effective communication to achieve quality outcomes, patient safety, customer satisfaction and a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment.
  • Contacts patients with lab, x-ray, MRI, CT, mammogram, and other test results as directed by provider.
  • Utilizes established communication channels/chain of command to resolve patient care concerns.
  • Collaborates with provider and patient to resolve questions concerning results, provides health education, and medical advice within skill level and scope of practice.
  • Works in a manner that supports the mission and vision of the CIMG and performs in accordance with system-wide competencies and behaviors.
  • Serves as a patient advocate protecting privacy and confidentiality issues.
  • Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods.
  • Complies with OSHA standards.
  • Attends and participates in organizational and departmental meetings as scheduled.
  • Ensures confidentiality in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
HS diploma/equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Must have active and in good standing LPN or RN licensure with the MD Board of Nursing and at least 3 years of previous clinical nursing experience.
