for full time employees and $1,000 sign on bonus for part time employees. Essential Job Duties That Must Be Safely Performed with or
Without Reasonable Accommodation:
Provide compassionate care and to advocate for our resident's while being respectful and empathetic of their needs. Carry out the administration of medications, treatment and care of each resident as prescribed in the care plan. Update charts, CNA assignments and nursing care plans with accurate information as changes occur. Responsible for resident admissions discharges and transfers. Responsible for accurate and timely completion of paperwork involved in resident admissions, discharges, and transfers. Responsible for receiving and documenting receipt of medications from pharmacy. Put medications away in med carts/med rooms after receipt. (Routine medication orders are normally delivered on 3-11 or 11-7 shift) Maintain confidentiality of resident information at all times. Attend mandatory facility in-services and license staff meetings at least 4 times per year; keep abreast of current trends in nursing care and show interest in continued growth.
Required Job Skills:
Sufficient knowledge of nursing practices and techniques to provide a high level of resident care (see required competencies listed below). Effective communication on an interpersonal level, both written and verbal. Cooperative and effective work style within an interdisciplinary team. Certified in CPR.
Education/Experience:
Current LPN licensure in the State of Maine and a graduate of an approved school of nursing.
