Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) / (LPN) - Outpatient Clinic Elk River, MN 55330 Full-time Full-time Position Overview We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our outpatient clinic team. This position supports providers by coordinating patient flow, assisting with clinical procedures, and delivering high-quality patient care to individuals of all ages—from infants to geriatric patients. Working closely with physicians, nurses, and clinic leadership, you will help create an efficient, patient-centered environment while ensuring excellent clinical care. ResponsibilitiesPatient Care Manage patient flow throughout the clinic to promote efficient scheduling and quality care. Assist healthcare providers during patient exams and clinical procedures. Deliver compassionate, age-appropriate care to patients across the lifespan. Perform delegated clinical and administrative duties within your scope of practice. Clinical Support Perform basic X-ray procedures after successful completion of the Minnesota X-Ray Operator's Examination. Prepare examination rooms, equipment, and supplies. Obtain patient histories, vital signs, and other clinical information as needed. Team Collaboration Work closely with physicians, clinic leadership, and healthcare staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Communicate patient concerns, clinical updates, and important information promptly with the healthcare team. Qualifications Medical Assistant Candidates High School Diploma or GED. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Current CMA or RMA certification. OR Licensed Practical Nurse Candidates Active Minnesota Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License. All Candidates Must Have Previous clinical or outpatient healthcare experience. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC). Successful completion of the Minnesota X-Ray Operator's Examination. Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
