Mendakota Pediatrics is a small, private outpatient pediatric clinic dedicated to providing compassionate, family-centered care for children of all ages. Job Summary We are seeking a Pediatric Medical Assistant, LPN, or equivalent to join our friendly and dedicated team. This role provides both clinical and administrative support in a busy outpatient pediatric practice. The ideal candidate is caring, organized, and enjoys working with children and families in a fast-paced but supportive setting. Responsibilities Greet and prepare patients for exams (vitals, height, weight, and medical history) Assist physicians during exams and procedures Administer vaccines and medications as directed Collect specimens and perform basic lab tests Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR Conduct telephone triage and communicate test results and follow-up instructions to families under the direction of the physicians Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and equipment Support front-office functions, including scheduling and insurance verification Contribute to a positive, team-oriented clinic atmosphere Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required) Associate's degree or equivalent experience (preferred) Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire Previous pediatric experience preferred, but not required Phlebotomy skills a plus Excellent communication and organizational skills Compassionate, team-oriented, and family-focused Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan options Supportive, family-friendly work environment Opportunities for professional growth and continuing education Schedule Part to Full-time, exact schedule to be determined; flexibility for some evening and weekend availability is preferred Work Location In person at our West St. Paul, MN clinic Equal Opportunity Employer Mendakota Pediatrics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
