Where You'll Work CHI St. Joseph's Health of Park Rapids, part of CommonSpirit Health, is an award-winning, 25-bed critical access hospital located in the heart of lake country. Fully accredited by The Joint Commission, we offer a full range of services including 24/7/365 Emergency Department and Level IV Trauma Center, hospitalist program, testing, surgery, orthopedics, rehabilitation, and more so that you can experience better health. Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you'll keep the day running smoothly and efficiently for your patients and clinical team. You'll take the lead on proactive preparation of patient charts; ensuring all information is obtained and up-to-date for those seen in our facility. Every day, you'll manage care for multiple patients, adapting to physician availability on-site, and actively collaborate with your clinical team to prioritize tasks and ensure seamless patient flow throughout the clinic. Your success in this role comes from your enthusiasm to help others, work efficiently, and your empathy for our patients. Responsibilities Conduct a focused assessment of an individual patient through the collection and comparison of data to normal findings and the patient's current health status. Report changes in assessment and responses to interventions in an ongoing manner to a registered nurse or the appropriate licensed health care provider for delegated or assigned tasks or activities. Participate in the development and modification of a plan of care. Implement interventions that are delegated, ordered, or prescribed by a licensed health care provider; determine and implement appropriate interventions within a nursing plan of care or when delegated or assigned by a registered nurse. Assign nursing activities or tasks to other LPNs; assign and monitor nursing tasks or activities to unlicensed assistive personnel. Providing safe and effective nursing care delivery. Job Requirements Required Graduate of LPN education program Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Minnesota (MN) Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
