Job Description:

Come join our team of dedicated care givers. Overlooking beautiful Lake Sleepy Eye, Divine Providence Community Home is a 50 bed skilled nursing facility. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or RN provides nursing care to residents according to physicians' orders and resident care plan. Monitors resident status and makes referrals to physician and resident's next of kin. Administers and records medications and treatments as prescribed by physician. Takes and records vital signs. Monitors nursing staff on assigned shift. Full-time or Part-time evening or night shift Must work every other weekend. $2 evening shift differential. $3 night shift differential. Required Skills:

Current LPN or RN license with MN State Board of Nursing. Interest in geriatric nursing with the knowledge of nursing and medicine to assist each resident to attain or maintain his or her highest level of functioning. Must have good people skills, ability to work cooperatively with staff, families, residents, and administration for the benefit of the resident. Works well in emergency situations, directs co-workers as needed.

Work days:

Full time, Part time, or casual Evening Shift 2:45 pm to 11:15 pm Night shift 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
