Position Summary The Registered Nurse (RN)/ Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing professional nursing care to residents while supervising Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Certified Medication Technicians (CMTs). The RN ensures quality care is delivered in accordance with physician orders, state and federal regulations, and facility policies. Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately. Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans. Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Supervise and support nursing staff during assigned shifts. Respond promptly to resident needs and changes in condition. Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations. Participate in admissions, discharges, and resident care conferences. Promote a positive, compassionate, and resident-focused environment. Assist with infection prevention and quality assurance initiatives. Serve as a leader and mentor to nursing staff. Qualifications Current Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing. Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire). Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required. Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance when necessary.
