Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN)/Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Morningside Center. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care to residents, promote their overall well-being, and ensure a safe and healthy environment. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent clinical and communication skills and a strong commitment to geriatric care.Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with their care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor residents' health status and report changes or concerns to physicians and families. Maintain accurate and timely medical records. Supervise and guide Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other care staff. Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge planning. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures. Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions. Promote a positive and respectful environment for residents and staff.Qualifications:
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN). Prior experience in long-term care, geriatrics, or a nursing home setting preferred. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities. CPR/BLS certification (required or ability to obtain upon hire). Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Benefits:
