Hr Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in a Medical-Surgical unit while supporting Emergency Department operations as needed. The LPN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg patients. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and report changes to the RN or provider. Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges. Perform wound care, specimen collection, IV-related duties within scope of practice, and other nursing procedures. Support Emergency Department staff with patient intake, monitoring, treatments, and patient flow as needed. Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs). Educate patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control practices.
Requirements:
2 Years of Med/ Surg Experience•[
REQUIRED
] ER Experience•Preferred Epic Experience BLS Must be AHA•[

Float LPN License Pay:
$34.00•$38.00 per hour Application Question(s): Do you have at least 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience? Do you have any Emergency Room (ER) experience? Do you have experience using Epic EMR? Do you currently hold an active AHA BLS (American Heart Association Basic Life Support) certification? Are you comfortable floating to other units/departments as needed? Do you hold an active LPN/LVN license ?
