Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to students with varying medical challenges, including feeding, toileting, and seizure management Support classroom activities by administering personalized care, particularly for students with g-tubes, wheelchair dependence, and lifting needs Collaborate closely with another onsite nurse to ensure safety and continuity of care for approximately 50 students Maintain accurate health records and documentation of services provided throughout the school day Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents regarding student needs and updates on care plans Respond promptly and appropriately in medical emergencies

Desired Qualifications:

Valid and current LPN or LVN license Prior experience in a pediatric, school, or special education setting preferred Comfortable managing g-tubes, seizure protocols, and assisting with mobility tasks (wheelchairs, lifting, transfers) Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic classroom environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and care coordination Dedication to providing high-quality, empathetic care to children with diverse medical and developmental needs
