Job description: Job Summary Cardinal Correctional Care is seeking LPN's to join our team working in a correctional institution setting. This position will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care under the supervision of physicians. This position requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to improving patient outcomes through effective communication and clinical skills. Duties Conduct physical examinations and assess patients' health status by taking vital signs and documenting findings. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Provide care for patients with infectious diseases, offering education on prevention and management. Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans based on patient needs. Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care, including referrals to specialists when necessary. Support behavioral health initiatives by recognizing mental health issues and providing appropriate interventions. Skills Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of internal medicine practices. Strong ability to perform physical examinations and interpret vital signs accurately. Knowledgeable in infectious disease care protocols and best practices. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining professionalism. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Correctional Healthcare Experience is a PLUS but not mandatory. Benefits for
