Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will assist the Doctor and work together with the medical assistant(s). This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. Duties Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition. Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Provide personal care to patients, including assistance with daily living activities. Perform wound care, catheterization, and IV infusion as needed. Document patient care accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality. Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for patients. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Experience The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and skills: Previous experience in healthcare. Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10), and medical documentation practices. Experience working with diverse populations including seniors. Skills in phlebotomy, specimen collection/processing, basic life support (BLS), and vital sign assessment..
