Job Description

Description We are searching for a highly motivated, self directed LPN to join our team. The ideal candidate would have home health and wound care experience. Also, the candidate will be self-directed and have an ability to provide great customer service with each encounter. You will collaborate with other team members to include LPN's, NP's and support staff. We are willing to train the right candidate. Interpersonal skills are a must for this position. You could to see 8-10 patients per day, the average visit time is 30 minutes. Hours worked can vary from week to week. This is a mobile position and you are required to visit patients in their home setting. Your patients could be located in Catawba, Lincoln, Iredell, Alexander or Burke county (NC). Responsibilities
  • Plans and manages patient care according to the patients needs
  • Interviews patients and records their medical history and physical condition.
  • Performs non-contact, non-thermal ultrasound per instructions and under the supervision of a licensed practitioner in North Carolina.
  • Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature and respiration.
  • Participates in coordination and execution of Telehealth appointments as needed.
  • Provides routine wound care for patients
  • Observes patients health
  • Reviews and documents medical charts
  • Assists clinical providers and office staff
  • Communicates with patients and their families
  • Performs standard diagnostic procedures such as EKG, phlebotomy, venipuncture, PFT and Doppler
  • Responsible for medical supplies and equipment
  • Prepares specimens for lab courier
  • Administers medications
  • Other duties as assigned This position requires treatment in the patients home setting, you will not be seeing patients in a clinical setting.
You will receive a mileage reimbursement, a monthly fixed rate to be determined at hiring. You must provide your own transportation. You are required to have a valid NC LPN license.
