Summary:
Surgical Scheduling, assisting providers with patient care, obtain prior approvals and return voicemails. In addition, the LPN works directly with the physician in clinic. Rooming patients, dressing changes and assist with procedures.

North Carolina Certifications:
BCLS 6 years clinical experience Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Essential Function Collects and documents patient intake data. Maintains accurate and complete patient records Provides patient support that reflects considerations for emotional, physical, social, cultural, religious and economic influences. Assists with routine clinic support activities. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Maintains appropriate, safe and therapeutic environment per clinic policy. Coordinates nursing staff to facilitate accessibility and continuity of care. Coordinates requests of physicians and office staff in regard to patient activities and needs. Athena Super User role Assist with Quality Controls of all Point of Care testing Provide support for staffing when management is unavailable Decision recommendations for staffing overtime and low census to be communicated to manager for final approvals. Assist with orientation and training of personnel and students. Participates and attends meetings as required and/ or assigned. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
