Clinical Support FirstHealth Transition Clinic - Pinehurst Overview Appointment scheduling, referrals, check-in/check-out, and answers incoming calls. This position will also help with patient case management, working with LPNs/RNs and the providers onsite. Clinical duties may include taking vital signs, obtaining medical histories, preparing patients for examinations, drawing blood and administering medications as directed by the provider. Responsibilities Financial/analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written skills. Excellent customer service skills. Extensive knowledge of insurance rules, including reimbursement, third-party payers, pre-certification, ICD-10, and CPT coding. Maintain strict confidentiality of medical, financial, and staff related information. Able to perform several tasks at once in an organized manner. Qualifications Must have a valid NC LPN License. Minimum one year of work experience in a medical clinic or similar environment. Preferred, but not required, Family Medicine work experience.
