Wound Care Nurse LPN or RN Job Summary:
The Greens at Pinehurst is seeking a compassionate and experienced LPN or RN Wound Care Nurse to join our clinical team at The Greens at Pinehurst Rehabilitation & Living Center, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Pinehurst, North Carolina. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing individualized, high-quality care to our residents. Responsibilities:
Assess, monitor, and document residents' wounds and skin conditions Provide wound care and treatments according to physician orders and established care plans Monitor residents for changes in condition and notify the appropriate members of the care team Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and the interdisciplinary care team Educate residents, families, and staff on wound prevention and treatment Assist with developing and updating individualized wound care plans Promote infection prevention and ensure compliance with facility policies and applicable regulations Provide compassionate, resident-centered care
Qualifications:
Active North Carolina LPN or RN license Wound care experience required Long-term care experience preferred Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills Basic leadership and supervisory skills Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented Scheduling flexibility as needed
