We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Lotus Village Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional, resident-centered clinical care to our patients. Responsibilities:
Safely prepare and administer prescribed routine oral, subcutaneous, and topical medications. Perform essential bedside nursing procedures, including changing sterile dressings, inserting catheters, and collecting routine laboratory specimens. Gather vital signs, monitor resident medical status, and interpret basic data to recognize changes in patient condition. Initiate immediate corrective actions and notify the supervising RN or physician promptly when a patient displays adverse or unexpected symptoms. Document comprehensive clinical care data and report to the interdisciplinary healthcare team to assist in managing individualized care plans. Reinforce patient education regarding recovery, surgical follow-up, and ongoing chronic care routines.
Qualifications:
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing in the state of North Carolina. Current CPR and First Aid certification. Dependable clinical technical skills, sharp observation capabilities, and clear documentation practices. A compassionate, team-oriented demeanor with a genuine willingness to improve resident lives daily.
